Yes. Modern modules still generate electricity on cloudy or rainy days, although output typically drops by about 10–40% depending on cloud cover. Proper tilt and array sizing help maintain stable annual energy yield.
As a rule of thumb, 1 kW of solar can generate around 3–4 kWh per day in many Indian cities. Check your monthly units, find the daily average, and size the system accordingly. Final sizing also depends on roof space and budget.
Grid-tied systems work with the utility and usually do not include batteries. Hybrid systems add batteries for backup and peak saving. Off-grid systems operate independently with batteries and are used where the grid is unreliable or unavailable.
Net metering allows you to offset the energy you draw from the grid with the energy you export. Your bill reflects the net units over the billing period. Policies vary by state and utility.
RCC, metal sheet, and tiled roofs can all host solar with the right mounting structures. We assess shading, orientation, wind loads, and waterproofing during site survey.
South-facing with minimal shade is ideal in India, but we can optimize using tilt structures, multiple strings, or module-level electronics if orientation is not perfect.
Typically 65–90 sq. ft per kW depending on module efficiency, tilt angle, and layout. Exact area is confirmed after the site survey.
Recent mono PERC/TOPCon modules offer higher efficiency and better low-light response versus older poly modules. We propose Tier-1 brands with strong warranties.
The inverter converts DC from panels to AC for your home, synchronizes with the grid, provides safety protections, and enables monitoring. Selection depends on size, MPPT inputs, and backup requirements.
Microinverters provide panel-level MPPT and help under shading/mismatch; they cost more. String inverters are cost-effective for larger arrays. We recommend case-by-case.
In many Indian cities, a 1 kW grid-tied system yields roughly 3–4 kWh/day on average over the year. Actual output depends on shading, tilt, temperature, and equipment quality.
Higher temperatures slightly reduce module efficiency. Adequate ventilation and quality modules mitigate the effect.
In dusty regions, soiling losses can be 3–10%. A regular cleaning schedule helps maintain generation.
Mounting structures are designed to IS/IEC guidelines. Anchors are sealed properly, and stainless/galvanized fasteners are used for durability. Structural drawings are provided where required.
Yes. We provide DC/AC SPDs, proper earthing, and lightning protection as per code and site needs.
Usually 3–6 years, depending on your tariff slab, system size, and available incentives. Commercial/industrial tariffs often yield faster payback.
Residential rooftop subsidies and schemes change over time and vary by state/utility. We guide you on the latest applicable benefits and documentation.
Yes. Loans and EMI options are available via partner banks/NBFCs subject to credit approval. We assist with paperwork.
In gross metering, all generated energy is exported to the grid at a specified tariff while you buy your consumption separately. Availability and rates depend on local policy.
Completely zero bills are rare because of fixed/minimum charges. Correct system sizing can substantially reduce your bill.
Small residential systems typically complete in 3–7 working days. Utility approvals and net-metering timelines vary by region.
We provide end-to-end support: application, inspection coordination, and net-meter integration as per your utility’s process.
We add a dedicated solar AC DB with protections and integrate it with your main DB. All circuits are labeled as per safety norms.
We use suitable anchors/ballast with sealants and flashing so the roof’s waterproofing remains intact when installed correctly.
We use site survey tools, shade analysis, and annual sun-path assessment to optimize stringing and layout. Module-level electronics are considered for critical shading.
Typically 10–12 years product warranty and 25-year linear performance warranty. Exact terms vary by brand.
Inverters usually carry 5–10 years warranty; extended options are available. We handle on-site support and RMA coordination when needed.
Basic cleaning every 2–4 weeks (depends on dust), plus annual electrical checks, thermal scans, and earthing tests are recommended.
Yes. Most systems include app or web monitoring for live generation, consumption, and alerts. We configure dashboards at commissioning.
Relocation is possible with proper dismantling and re-installation. Expansion depends on roof space, inverter headroom, and utility approvals.
